Teri Jo LeVelle

Teri Jo LeVelle, 69, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Cottage Grove Place, Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on October 1, 2026, at the Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood, Cedar Rapids. Private family inurnment will take place at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date.

Teri was born October 30, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Harold and Maxine (Anderson) Mahnke. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School. Teri married Terry Lee LeVelle on October 19, 1996, at Morgan Creek Park, Cedar Rapids. She worked for the Linn County Treasurer’s Office for more than 50 years and remained employed there until the time of her death. In her free time, Teri enjoyed crafting and crocheting and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. She also had a lifelong love for animals.

Survivors include her sister, Judy (Ray) Pisarik of Ely, Iowa; her nieces, Toni (John) Geer of Birmingham, Alabama, and Cindy (Bill) Klawiter of Ely; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and good friend, Jerry Hunt of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lee LeVelle; her parents; and her brother, William Mahnke.
