Therma J. Andrews, 82, of Center Point, Iowa, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a long battle with cancer. Services: 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2007, at First Christian Church, Center Point, Iowa, by the Rev. John Caughron. The family will greet friends from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, August 5, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Therma will be cremated following the funeral and buried on Tuesday at the Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include her children, Jeanna (Kenneth) Fagle of Center Point, Steven (Janyce) Andrews of Vinton, Wayne (Peggy) Andrews of Marion, Abbie Andrews of Center Point, Sheri (Randy) Wiltsey of Center Point and Harold Andrews of Center Point; grandchildren, J.D. (Mindi) Fagle, Heidi (Matt) Heilskov, Greg (Stephanie) Andrews, Jason (Stephanie) Andrews, Kenda (Ed) Patton, Cori Andrews, Aaron Andrews, Sally Andrews, Bryan Andrews, Toby Andrews, Carl Wiltsey, Wendy Cooper and Vanessa (Hank) Raue; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Conrad of Mechanicsville, Wanda Lehrkamp of Carroll and Earlene (Gene) Devlin of Dundee; brothers, Bill (Madonna) Coulter of Independence and Kenny (Bev) Coulter of Independence; brother-in-law, Bill Horn of Independence; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bob Coulter; and sisters, Mary Horn and Marthalene Tull.
Therma was born July 18, 1925, in Audubon County, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Wanda (Wright) Coulter. She worked as an assembler for 26 years at Rockwell-Collins.
Therma enjoyed traveling with family and friends, playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles, watercolor painting and wintering in Arizona. She was a member of First Christian Church.
