Thomas M. Worrall, 74, of Manchester, died Saturday, December 08, 2012, at home of a sudden illness. Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 14, 2012, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Buena Vista, IA. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012, from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at the Bohnenkamp- Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester, with a Rosary at 2 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Robin Rowlands, Greeley, Co., Robin (Marv) White, of Earlville, Jerry Ramsey of Manchester, James Ramsey of Dundee, Ricky Worrall of AZ, Thomas “Scooter” Worrall of Windsor, CO, Jason Ramsey of Cascade and Julie (Billy) Grobstrick of Edgewood; one foster child, JJ Berg; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and three brothers, Dick (Soko)Worrall, Dave Worrall, and Larry (Marcia ) Worrall.
Tom was born April 28, 1938, in Knoxville, IA, the son of Roy and Wilmena “Minnie” (Naaktgeborn) Worrall. He served in the Air force from 1955 until 1958, during the Korean Conflict. Thomas was married to Janet (Springer) Worrall, on June 21, 1985 in Orem, Utah.
Tom was a self-employed trucker for 45 years. He had a passion for trucks and was also fond of old cars, and boats. He loved fishing with his kids on the Mississippi and especially the thought of Santa Claus coming.
Tom was preceded in death, by his parents; two sons, Jon Worrall, and Tommy Worrall; three brothers, Roy, John, and Bruce Worrall.
