Victor Usovsky, 77, of Tipton, Iowa, died Thursday, February 11, 2010, in his home. Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his sons, Gary (Rhonda) of Des Moines, Ron (Marsha) of Columbia, Missouri, and Jerry (Jean) of Fairfield; grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, Thaddeus, Alicia, Brianna and Marlena; great granddaughter, Catalina; step daughter, Sharon of Appleton, Wisconsin; step sisters, Anna (Paul) Straub of Cedar Rapids, Olga (Tom) Flaming of Marion and Dorothy Walker of Blakesburg; and friend, Ruby.
Victor was preceded in death by his father; his biological mother; his stepmother, Fedora; daughter-in-law, Juanita; granddaughter, Ashley; brothers, Vik, Gregory and Jack; and three sisters.
Born March 25, 1932, Victor was the son of Nikita and Eugenia Usovsky. He ran several different businesses and was a livestock farmer.
