Wilhelmina Jordan

Wilhelmina Jordan, 91, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, just two days before her 92nd birthday, at Bickford of Marion. In agreement with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, located at 915 27th Street in Marion. A private family committal will take place at a later date.

Wilhelmina was born on August 18, 1934, in New York, one of four children to William and Julia (Swartz) Von Gerichten. Wilhelmina married Richard Stueland in Brooklyn, New York. To this union, one daughter was born. Wilhelmina and Richard later divorced. In 1992, Wilhelmina was later united in marriage to Kenneth James Jordan. She was a homemaker for her family and also worked various positions in retail and banking throughout her life. Wilhelmina took great comfort in her faith in the Lord and her time spent with the church was very important to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Wilhelmina is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Deborah (Russ) Jellerson; two granddaughters, Leah (Beau) Kahle-Clancy and Jennifer (Scott) Keith; two great-grandsons, Collin Bowers (Lauren Hutchinson) and William Kahle; beloved niece, Marie Hammerschmitt; four step-children, Robbin Moore, Roy Jordan, Doug Jordan, and Mark Jordan; several step-grandchildren; and many extended family members including cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Jordan; and siblings, Jeanette Adolff, Marie Moser, and William “Bill” Von Gerichten.
