William "Bill" F. Moffatt

William “Bill” F. Moffatt, 92, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. A private family graveside Service took place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with Reverend Kenneth Glaser officiating. A Memorial Mass for Bill is being planned for a later date at St. Ludmila Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.

Bill was born on July 16, 1933, the son of William and Anna (Gallo) Moffatt. Bill enjoyed traveling and good food. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Robert (Vicki) Ramsey, Kathy (Tim) Steel, Sheri (Kevin) Springman, Kevin Ramsey, and Janet (Daniel) Legrone.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Teresa (Robert) Kimpel and Marlene (John) Ramsey; and three nieces, Marie (Larry) Lanning, Stephanie Thur, and Kathleen Springman.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at both Summit Pointe and the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy for the love, care, and support they all gave to Bill during his stay and final days.
