William Joseph Zbanek Sr.
August 15, 1932 — January 8, 2018
William Joseph Zbanek, Sr., 85, of Shueyville, Iowa, passed away January 8, 2018, at his home. Per Willam's request, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the family's home. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
William was born August 15, 1932, in Bertram Township, Iowa, the son of William and Agnes (Stock) Zbanek. He worked for 43 years as a mechanic at Cryovac. William enjoyed fishing, boating, and motorcycle riding. He had a special love for his pets. To many friends he was known as “The Bull”.
William is survived by his son; William “Bill” (Kelly) Zbanek, Jr. of Shueyville; daughter, Darlene Zbanek of Denver, Colorado; and his beloved cat Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Linda Hamilton; and son, David Zbanek.
