Wilmer "Bill" White

Wilmer (Bill) L. White, 96, of Yuma, AZ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at HallMar Village, in Cedar Rapids, lowa, surrounded by those who loved him. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion assisted the family.

Bill was born on June 23rd, 1929, in Limestone County Alabama, the son of Claude and Nadie (Paige) White. After graduating High School, he joined the United States Navy and fell in love with Aviation. After serving in the Navy he flew for private companies and Air France. He was united in marriage to Beverly and together they had a son, Craig.

He is survived by two sisters-in-law, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Craig and six brothers
