Rose Mary Mefferd, 101, a lifetime resident of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. She was born November 7, 1907, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Joe and Anne (Hajek) Lunacek. There will be no services. Burial will be at Czech National Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
